October 26, 2005 -- Wednesday

Yesterday we had another ultrasound, which was supposed to be a follow up to view the previa. I found out this morning, from the doctor, that they didn’t do what had been requested, and instead had done a growth ultra to see baby’s growth and development. I had another ultrasound this morning to follow up on the previa. Even though it was the wrong ultrasound yesterday, I thoroughly enjoyed seeing our baby and knowing how well he/she was growing. My favorite of the new pictures is a head on shot of baby’s face! It is amazing how much detail you can make out on the picture—even though it is not as clear as what I saw on the monitor. You can clearly make out baby’s eyes, little nose, and tiny lips—and of course baby’s cheeks!! I remember that at 20 week ultrasound I was convinced baby looked like daddy; now I think that baby looks like more like me!!
