Some of Kateli...

She's a goof ball and sat still for about 20secs so that I could take pics. These are a couple of my faves...can you see her personality?
ENJOY!

Green Leaf Park...Gone fishin...

We went to Green Leaf Park this afternoon, with some really good friends of ours. Here is one of my favorite pictures of Kateli learning to fish--here she is waiting with Mr Ron to see if a fish will bite..

More on our day trip from yesterday...

We spent a fun afternoon out in the wilderness enjoying all that God has given to us...The kids had so much fun, they enjoyed being outdoors, and playing with friends. Katherine learned how to fish, well I don't know that she "learned" but she had fun with the new activity. In fact, she and Mr Ron caught a few little fish, and our little girl even grabbed one of the fish to throw back into the water...WOW!! Joshua didn't get to fish yesterday, but he did have fun playing with dirt, trikes, and just crawling around and getting dirty. I think he could have gone for a dip in the water, had we let him!! :) Joshua and I enjoyed a LONG relaxing nap on the hammock while everyone else played, canoed and had lots of fun. Here are a few of the pics that I brought back from our day trip...enjoy!

Our trip to Red Bud Valley

We had a fun filled day today...well, after our morning run this morning. So far, we have completed our longest to date training run--we ran 15miles! Dan and I ran separate this morning, as we didn't want to take the kids out at 6am--thought it would be too cold! So, I started at 6:30, finished a little under 2 1/2 hours later, and then Dan took off. So, the kids and I went to a fun birthday party and had lots of fun!
This afternoon we joined some friends for a fun hike trip at Rose Bud Valley. Kateli had never been hiking and she seemed to really enjoy it!! Here are some pics from our trip this afternoon.

Big Boy...

Yes, Joshua is a big boy and he looks even older with his brand new BIG BOY haircut. We went and got his locks cut this afternoon, and he looks so CUTE!! I have to apologize for the quality of the photos, I didn't take my "BIG" camera because I thought it was just going to be me with the little guy. Daddy and sister were going to get an oil change in the van while Joshua and I went to the salon...so, I had to settle for pics with my camera phone. Enjoy!

Here he is before his haircut... Starting the haircut...he was unsure at first and then got comfortable, once he was distracted with a HUGE brush...

Here he is after...it's still not combed in this pic, but you get the idea...does he look dapper or what?? My little guy!!

Between the Lions, at the zoo

What a fun day we've had. This morning, we were all up bright and early because we needed to head out quickly to get to our first event of the day. This morning we went to the zoo for a live puppet performance of the "between the lions" show on PBS. It is an educational show about reading and encouraging kids to read through fun books and music. We met some friends there, and enjoyed the show. Kateli seemed to have fun, and was even singing along some of the songs. Joshua was so excited he was squealing at the puppets, and kept trying to get out of my arms to crawl to the front...who would have guessed. Well, I have to apologize as I chose not to carry my camera this morning. I made a choice and was kicking myself for it. I thought it was just going to be too much to carry around, lugging around a camera on top of two kids, diaper bag, sippy cups, snacks, stroller, blankies, pacis and the such...so I had to revert to taking pictures with my camera phone. After the show, we met yet some more friends, and walked around the zoo for a little while before settling down for lunch and then heading back home for naptime.
Here are some pictures, and a couple of videos that I captured with my phone. Sorry for the poor resolution...better than nothing though! Enjoy!
